PLS HELP: my monitor is 120hz and 1440p and ps5 does not support 1440p though my monitor can upscale and i can set the ps5 to 4k and it will give me 1440p but only 60 hz due to my monitor not having a 21 hdmi port and needing a 21 port to upscale to 1440p and run 120hz, would getting this adapter fix that problem or not?

Yeah people should read the manufacture description before buying this junk It literally says only supports 60hz, so it only supports 4k 60fps for 4k monitors that do not support HDMI 21 (which is what ps5 uses) What should end up happening by tricking this to work is it should lead to screen tearing and latency, which is what you dont want Just buy a 21 to display port or a 21 compatible monitor

I have the new Samsung G7 uhd display It’s one of the few monitors that supports 4K @ 120hz on the ps5 I have updated all my settings (performance mode, chose the correct resolution at 4K, made sure everything is updated, ran the original ps5 hdmi 21) but I can’t seem to get that output I either get 4K @ 60hz or 1080 @ 120hz I am running it on warzone and how I’m checking the output is through the monitor settings Would you be able to help me with this?

I've got msi optix 271c which is a 27inch curved monitor, i didnt need this to get 120hz when on the ps5 menu it says 60hz on top left corner once u start cod cold war it changes to 120hz Also go to graphics tab and it will say 120hz too So if your looking to buy one go for this monitor i have been using it on ps4 pro and now ps5 Very good monitor
