Hi,i have an S7 edge for collection purposes It's been sitting for for many years being turned off and usually charged once around 5-6 months It died recently,it was on,it turned itself off and it shows no sign of life If i plug it to the charger the phone will heat up considerably but the phone still shows no sign of life Is this the case of a completely dead battery or did the phone itself just happen to die?

Hi my 7 edge was running slow kept shutting down was not able to reboot was stuck on Samsung logo and shut off now can it be fixed because I'm worried can't access my data which I need any help can the software be recovered
