I went to NYC about 10 years ago for a 5 day trip I knew we would be doing a lot of walking, so took a stout pair of comfy shoes with thick soles It was also March and snowing lightly We walked from 8am to 10pm to see the sights I ended up with a dozen blisters on the ball area of my feet Alyssa, when I saw your flimsy shoes I thought - no, they won't stand up to all the walking The trainers / sneakers are better Hope you have a great trip and interested to learn how you got on Enjoy

The reason the sneakers are not working as well with the jeans is that there is no leg showing between the top of the shoe and the hem of the jeans … IMO there needs to be a break there

As a NYer this was fun to watch I think for anyone coming this summer, I think flowy solid sundresses, sandals will always work with non fussy bags I would wear more of a natural brown leather bag, more bohemian A black or white tank top is always great I’m surprised Alyssa didn’t think about bringing the cutoffs denim I would have gone for a natural colored sandal A button up white shirt and jeans/ cutoff shorts work I wouldn’t wear ballet shoes here White sneakers yes We are far more casual here but executed and effortless if that makes sense Loose fabric dresses for evening , tank tops and cut offs by day, and no jacket is ever required It’s too hot here I think something very colorful and stands out? This is the place to wear it

Oh socool !! We're close to NYCsome style choices wouldn't be a choice of mine IE the tank (1° due to my age )but you can certainly get away with it even though it's very casualbrLike the off the shoulder stripe with shorts & with either long pants Also like the white V neck sleeved tee All much more sophisticatedbr Would only do a tank under a dressier cardigan or jacket And I'd take along your leopard skirt 🤩 ! br Great video Have fun on our backyard!

great stuff hereand yep leave the jeans ha ha hayou know i do not care for jeans at all i think you have enough there with the other pants and shorts to do just 4 short days wearing each bottom twice i think jeans would be overpacking just my two cents jeans are tooooo heavy for me (not too many people in fla wear jeans in the summer especially no), look hideous on me and are too hard to wash and dry quickly when travelling yeah, i know YOU are only travelling 4 days just giving you some insight as to why i don't vibe with them
