I've had two of these emails in the last 6 months As a 65 yr old woman with little IT experience, I found the first one quite concerning Not because of possible incriminating disclosures because I know that's bullshit but because I was unsure if the person could possibly have a way to infiltrate my bank account Also, I was quite perturbed and shocked that someone would send a woman my age, something that was quite that disgusting My son explained that it was just a scammer trying to extract money from me and not to worry about it When I got the second one a few months later, I just laughed I don't know if it was the same person but I would love to meet them when I've got a big book in my bag!

I have had almost the same email They claimed the mail was sent from my account How come it wasn't in my sent mail ! Claimed to have video footage of me That's clever because I have no camera on my desktop ! These people are evil slime Surely there must be some way of stopping their activities It is now so widespread Always amuses me when they phone and say their name is David or suchlike but speak with a strong Indian accent Well done for making people aware of all this

I'm in Ireland and I got a recorded message on my phone saying that they were working on behalf of the police and that I had been involved in criminal activity - hilarious - they're not even called Police here in Ireland and although they might be a bit stretched it's ridiculous to think they would start using a call centre to deal with crimes! 🤦‍♂️

My dad got one of these in 2020, I told him to just ignore it, couple of days later he got a more threating email, told dad to not do anything and ignore it, couple of days later, same thing, dad told to ignore again, after that never heard from person again 🤣😂
