I’ve seen so many videos of people over complicating this Its really not complicated, the more you use it, the more you’ll charge it, the quicker the battery will degrade

I would say if the battery is very low its ok to fast charge a bit to like 20, to get out of the hurtful charging range fast also fast charging only really starts to heat up the phone above 45

I had an iPhone 5 that could hold charge for roughly the same amount of time after 5 years What did I do? I've never upgraded it! I still have it, and it's on iOS 633, the only upgrade I had done (up from 621) Unfortunately, only a handful of apps still work on it Let's face it, Apple will make more demanding software and your phone will consume more energy, and they will make you buy a new one It's their business model, there's no escape from it

I've had my 14 Pro Max since launch and I still have 100 battery health I never use wireless charging, never let my batter get below 30, never let it charge to 100 and I don't play games or use my phone that much while it's charging

100 agree with that last part Just use your iPhone as you want Too many folks, especially on Reddit, keep asking for best charging practices and ways to keep battery health degradation Some people swear by slow charging, some actually try that stupid 80/20 rule So much mental energy is being put into battery anxiety I tell people the same thing…it’s a smartphone and it will automatically do all those things for you If it gets too hot it will dim the screen and even shut off Fast charging slows down after a certain point to preserve battery health brIt’s bad enough we have financial anxiety We don’t need to add battery anxiety to the list Enjoy and use the phone Find other ways to make extra money because nothing is doing that for you automatically 😂😂

Batteries will always degrade as time passes by It’s just apple knows how to make money out of something that should come of naturally Remember when having a charger is a norm when buying a phone To make more money they removed the chargers 😂 its just a simple money making bullshit of apple Your phone would still work even if you have 50 percent battery health Apple just made it more noticeable so you would react on it Way back 2012 we don’t really care how much battery health our phones have Not until they put some numbers into it that made us well aware on what health our battery has

I have an iPhone 13 Mini which stayed at 100 for exactly one year I use 20W adapter without considering slow charging and all that, what I did is to charge at least before 20… However, after that 1 year mark, I left my phone at 0 for three times I think and it dropped to 99 brbr1 year and 8 months later, my battery health is at 76

the highest storage limit on my 2019 iPhone XR is still 99 Set a timer or alarm for 55 minutes, and only plug it into an ANKER FASTCHARGER when the battery is at 50 My 13 Pro and my second-generation SE employ the same technique, and they both top out at 98 percent Maximum recharging limit is religiously 92
