I have a ps5 that i connect with old monitor the singal is too weak and the monitor can barely work at 480p can this converter slove that problem note that The monitor works fine at 1080p with ps4

Still doesn't fulfill the major need of the ps5 for me I want to have an hdmi going straight into my tv for the video and another hdmi going straight into my receiver for audio This is the same set up that is already available on sony 4k players but on ps5 we are stuck with only one hdmi out port so if you want to use it with an older receiver you are pretty much screwed because you have to use optical from the tv or arc from the tv both of which have consistently added audio delay for me

Most people DO buy 4k 120Hz TV's, almost ALL OLED TV's are 4k 120Hz, and OLED TV's are VERY in now 3 a 4 years, and brdo not cost a lotbrbrBut PS5 and Xbox Series X can only do max 4k 60Hz and Movies are mostly all 23,97 a 24fps, so for does people doesn't brmatter, but for the few PC gamers who have there HIGH END PC connected to there OLED TV, 4k 120Hz is great

Do audio extractors process audio or they are just a pass through? I'm learning about this and I've read that it all comes down to the type of sound the device in question is sending or the source The Optical output of my TV won't get me 51 channels because the source is uncompressed, so I'm wondering if these devices are just the same or they do compress audio or convert it brbrFor example the nintendo switch only send uncompressed audio, not compatible with optical will this convert the Nintendo audio to the type of signal my home theater can decode?

I have a question for you I have the Astro A4 headset with the pro amp mixer and I bought a PS5 and I have a BenQ zowie monitor capable of 240 HZ now if I hook the PS5 directly up to the monitor and hook my headset directly into the controller I can get 1080 at 120 HZ but if I use the Astro HDMI audio extractor in between the HDMI cables that way I can make use of the pro amp if bottlenecks it down the 60 HZ and they say it doesn't by any chance do you know if the audio extractor you are showing will bottle neck it down the 60 hertz or will it allow 120 hertz pass through

Make sure you buy one with HDR support Now there are extractors that allow for variable refresh rates and up to 8k support These are fairly expensive so get what you think you'll need for your current setup unless you plan to upgrade your monitor to Dolby vision which you will need an extractor that supports that While this YouTube tech support gave you some hope he left out important information which I included I hope this helps
