@brendanpells912
Yeah, we know The engines are fragile and unreliable De-rate them to lower thrust and fit more of them Or wait for the BE4 engine to be finished
Comment from : @brendanpells912

@bazoo513
Three weeks after this ill-conceived attempt you are still doing the more or less the same overview?
Comment from : @bazoo513

@gandalfgreyhame3425
Stuff blows up and burns all the time in Texas, and nobody care Heck there was yet another giant refinery explosion and fire in Deer Park (east of Houston) just a week or two ago That's the main reason SpaceX moved to Boca Chica
Comment from : @gandalfgreyhame3425

@BrianGochnauer
Elon said it didn't reach the proper ALTITUDE and velocity to separate because of the failed engines; there was no failure to separate; separation was not attempted because it did not have the altitude for the second stage to successfully get to orbit
Comment from : @BrianGochnauer

@yohancyrus6159
All his points are taking a passive aggressive jabs at space X and most of them are misinterpreted or outright false If you have something against Space X say it as it is, being passive aggressive is lame af brThis guy is biased, if this was twitter he would get community noted for his fake narrative

@andremoreau7057
So what is the problem with the SpaceX engine? You talk at length about the launch pad problems, but nothing about engines Clickbait?
Comment from : @andremoreau7057

@mikehawes2
Yeah, this is just terrible reporting Watch CSI Starbase instead Really good stuff
Comment from : @mikehawes2

@toddmarshall7573
It will turn the water to super heated steam Same thing they worry about in nuclear accidents Re government: They'll do everything they can to get in the way
Comment from : @toddmarshall7573

@billswettman9874
This is the worst that Great Space X has done The tone is totally negative and you have most of your facts wrong You are going to have to do better or you will definitely loose your followers
Comment from : @billswettman9874

@jimmyward4034
did i miss an explanation of why the rocket did not separate?

Fire from above and water from below, will this get a boost, like John Hartford's "Steam Powered Aeroplane?" ;)brbr youtube/AV7ZTwqC8ZI
Comment from : @costrio

@plexisgaming
Instead of people being critical of SpaceX they should try to understand that more is learned from failures than successes With this in mind the launch of Starship accomplished more than what SpaceX expected so it wasn't really a failure, but the RUD of Starship will teach SpaceX how to do better next time
Comment from : @plexisgaming

@kevinegan1359
An old nasa tech once calculated the maximum thrust a rocket could produce at launch before it damaged any launch pad before it was impossible to prevent 😊 thepads destruction ,the theoretical limit than any any pad its something in the area of35 million lbs of thrust Which is about a little more than twice the thrust of starship
Comment from : @kevinegan1359

@juangalindez3284

Comment from : @juangalindez3284

@zublacus
Center for Biodiversity (CBD) literally sues the Feds for anything they can think of to make money leveraging the Equal Access For Justice Act (EAJA) They once filed a lawsuit against the US Gov't for not saving ElephantsYeahwe don't have Elephants They've filed 3 lawsuits in the last 3 days over various things It's all just a money maker

@J03130
it didn't reach separation altitude so it would have been unsafe for them to try I'm tired of hearing most people say that it failed to separate

@jasonpokatello1780
Dude You need to do more research abt what is going on at SpaceX You’re WAAAAAAAY OFF!
Comment from : @jasonpokatello1780

@vilehans9665
Doing something cheaply means doing it many times and that makes it expensive Seeing only the video pictures I would say it looks not persuasive enough to could say “Yes” I think the covered surface is too small and there is no any tranches to channel the hot gases off I hope this time the engineers are capable enough to do some good job
Comment from : @vilehans9665

@BenjamenMeyer
Issue at the pad was the sand SpaceX confirmed it compressed the sand which compromised the pad concrete Further, SpaceX confirmed they knew pretty quickly after launch that it wouldn't reach target height so they never initiated stage separation
Comment from : @BenjamenMeyer

@nolangene51
Also stop with the negative approach You could do the same video with a positive approach and get much farther down the road with most subscribers!

@nolangene51
Really getting tired of the click baity titles Have started to thumbs down your videos Stop it or start losing us!
Comment from : @nolangene51

@damiengreen28
Your take on this is way off, nothing you are saying is correct The pad was not strong enough, not the engines too powerful, the failed seperation wasn't even attemppted and the truck size raptors aren't nearly the size of a truck 103k subs and you are lying to them
Comment from : @damiengreen28

@beyondu9048

@OakridgeRocks
I can hear Elon in the future, when the first human rated flight happens "If we only kill half of the astronauts, the mission will be considered a success" Of course he is going to say it And bet takers?

Comment from : @jeffreyliddicoat1364

@grumlop6461
correction it needed 40secs until the ship disintegrated The FLTS was triggered, but the whole in the rocket didnt released enough pressure in a short time, so the rocket flew 40secs from triggering FLTS to disintegration

@jimmarburger611
I always thought the lack of a flame trench was going to be a problem, but I understand that the water table in the area prevents any digging Think cemeteries in New Orleans, dig a hole and it fills with water As far as this video goes I don't much care for the title, it sets expectations and in this case it didn't deliver I get the whole thing about generating views, but if you sacrifice the integrity of the reporting it reflects badly on you While generally correct, the facts you present are just enough off from actuality that it makes me feel queasy and distracts from the message you are trying to get across Great SpaceX? Nah, mediocre at best Get better
Comment from : @jimmarburger611

@clarkkent5442
So glad president Trump created the space force In 50 years i have a feeling the space force will have space bases in orbit, on the moon, on Mars, and on asteroids in the asteroid belt Because of that one move and with the awesome support of private companies like SpaceX America will continue to be at the forefront of humanity and our species drive into the universe
Comment from : @clarkkent5442

@scottymoondogjakubin4766
If the vulcan rocket was designed to compete against falcon 9 ULA needs to lower the cost per launch $32 million if not more !
Comment from : @scottymoondogjakubin4766

@jeremiahruiz2887
I have a solution for this how do I talk to Elon directly? hehe
Comment from : @jeremiahruiz2887

@victomeyezr
Stop saying the booster failed to separate IT NEVER MADE IT TO SEPERATION!!! God you people need to learn how to do 5 minutes of research before you post shit!! Because f the engine failures the rocket never made it to the point of separation in altitude Yes, on the live stream they "thought" it was to the point, but it wasn't!!!!!
Comment from : @victomeyezr

@diogenes64
Not the engines but the pad and/or hydraulics Click bait here
Comment from : @diogenes64

@kevinreeves3161
I said long Time ago about the launchpad was not gonna hold up I told you had to rebuild it and make it right because too many motors Being cranked up at one time and you see what six motors Do just think about that you no 6 motors how powerful there so much power coming out all the motors I don’t know how much damage it was going to do but I know it was going to do damageI said that long time ago in a tweet and on you tube
Comment from : @kevinreeves3161

@h2energynow
If artimus one messed up the pad with the water deluge system in place and an exhaust fume trench fixing some metal with water is not going to solve the issue But I have confidence they will find a solution
Comment from : @h2energynow

@jroar123
My guess is that everyone is out to get Elon Musk because the left hate his guts due to his purchasing of Twitter After the purchase, he ratted out the lefts connection with the CIA, FBI, and whomever that showed their relationship with a campaign against President Trump So posts like this are all out to bash SpaceX and StarShip
Comment from : @jroar123

@PDLM1221
Yeah it’s not an engine problem ! It’s a Launch platform problem , you don’t need to use click bait I agree just tell the facts , you don’t need to use fake statements, the engine is fine just Powerful!

@optimagroup11
Disappointed in your title The engines weren't the problemthey propelled this magnificent beast, with only 30 Raptors! The problems were with the OLM's base something that was known to be inadequate The team decided it was worth the risk Despite the 'fallout' lol, the booster was an enormous success They knew they needed the upgraded foundation and water system and are cleaning up the mess The FAA has to take a posture of protecting the public, so they need time to go through that process SpaceX needs the time anyway to beef up the OLM I'm a subscriber and regular viewer of your channel Please don't sink to the level of other YouTubers with the stress-inducing, clickbait You've been nothing but professional, and that's why I watch all of your episodes Please take my constructive criticism as a way of helping you to maintain your high standards SoCalFreddy
Comment from : @optimagroup11

@falconnm
Ridiculously inaccurate It's unprofessional not to research what you're doing I understand hyperbola, but stupidity and being unwilling to research basic well-known facts makes this channel worse than uselessbrbrEnjoy the cash grab from your clickbait laziness Hopefully this channel will go away soon

Another spacex channel i'll now block Talk about false information The separation didn't fail, errors were recognised so it didn't even try Go listen to Elon please instead of trying to spew bs

Comment from : @jupitorman

@douglascunningham6319
136 decibels at 9 miles was recorded 120 is immediate harm level Elon stated without the water damper it is a danger to both pad an rocket Believe it was launched at 90 throttle

@bigantplowright5711
Not being a rocket engineer, even to me there should have been a trench to divert the blast
Comment from : @bigantplowright5711

@homesimcockpit1954
"Truck sized" engines? "Failed" to separate? The engines are big, but far from truck size Further more, SpaceX confirmed that they never tried the separation sequence It never reached the altitude or speed needed, so the command was not given
Comment from : @homesimcockpit1954

@zhchbob
I cann't see any engine problems
