no problem, with pleasure! for the settings, you can go through your FC and do a serial pass on the "cli" to change the values in ublox otherwise with an ftdi adapter it's the gps directly on ublox and it seems to work better for the gps you have to turn everything on (glonass/galileo etc), change the "baud" to 57000 (no more because the gps would heat up too much), and also above all change from 1hz to 10hz to multiply the speed by 10 there are a lot of videos explaining all this and how to use ublox (Not very easy, but in the end with explanations, it's not difficult) Comment from : le flamant rose fpv |

Sorry if I missed it Is it feasible I'd get better GPS performance if set to 115200 bps on a gps module that doesn't seem to get too hot? Also, on the two video comparisonone of them has been in flight about 30 seconds and the other 3 over minutes Wouldn't that also make difference in # of GPS satellite lock? Comment from : Buddy D |
