When you said organizing by style, I thought you meant like “edgy, romantic, office”, etc Usually it’s called by garment type, or item type: coats, jackets, dresses, etc

I am in the midst of a major closet clean outclothes, shoes, handbags, accessorieseverything! What I am experiencing is how to organize a closet when you don't have a walk-in closet I have recently been purchasing storage bins, plastic drawers etc It would be nice to see a video to help people who don't have a large closet to make the most of the space

Great tips I sort of do this technique However, I also prefer to have categories for work, casual, church, sporty, cottage wear, formal/dressy This way if I'm looking for work I won't accidentally grab a top which is meant for casual I also need my closet sorted by the 4 seasons I only like that season of clothing in the closet and the other seasons stored away

Your earlier advise about combinations- take one piece of top and mix it with all bottoms that you have - really genious It took over 4 hours, with cofeebreak), but now I have 16 photos in my phone (on each - one bottom and all tops that combined with it) - it's 75 sets what to wear for summer Now I stopped saying "I have nothing to wear" Thank you!

Another way to stay on top of things in your closet is to have a set number of hangers If you add a piece of clothing you take one away This will keep you disiplined when shopping too! 😉

Yep, in my early 20s I never edited my closet; I just let everything accumulateit was an overflowing mess as you can imagine Now that I’m in my mid 20s, I’m constantly editing my wardrobe—not necessarily by season, but multiple times a year whenever I feel like something can go! It feels nice to be obsessively on top of what clothes I own now

Wardrobe clearout is sooo hard! My closet is still full of pieces that are not bad, but I don't love Too ok to get rid off, not good enough to be happy with it
