Hi Michael , hope you are doing well , I was searching for help with an issue I’m facing and came across your channel and maybe you could help me I’m new to OBS ! brI have an iMAC 2020 , an audio interface Behringer U-PHORIA UMC404HD and the microphone is the Audio-technica P48 brThe sound comes out alright on YouTube , THE REALL issue is that I can’t bare wearing the headphones for monitoring as it’s giving me a slight delay that really annoys me and I can’t talk normally , I automatically try to syinc it and I feel like I’m drunk talking lol 😆 brMan ! I’ve tried the delay thing on properties and it just doesn’t fix it , when I stream directly on YouTube I don’t have that delay so clearly the issue/ fix must me in OBS brbrPlease I hope you read this and you would help me It’s putting me of OBS brbrPs: the big difference for me is that on streaming directly on YouTube I can’t add background music and with OBS it’s really easy and I can loop it brbrOk I won’t talk no more , for now 😌brbrHug from London UK

Great tutorial Michael thank you Question: if recording the podcast (not live streaming it), what would be the most efficient way to capture everything so in post-editing be able to switch from the dual screen (showing both guest and interviewer) to each individual when they are speaking? Just stretching the main video? Or is there a better way?

6:18 Folks always tend to talk about "Mac" and "PC", yet Linux is an operating system, as well, used on PCs I did manage to create the frame I needed, but had to stop when it came to adding the audio source of the guest, as it now excludes my operating system I appreciate the help this has given me, though Thank you

you can just crop the camera view by holding ALT and clicking on the little square and dragging it in to crop it no need to click on all the filter stuff lol

Hi Michael I use a Mac, but I have it partitioned to have Windows 10 Streaming is done on the PC side I have a 2011 Mac mini High Sierra (my recording software won't run yet on the new update) , i5 processor & 32g RAM I can stream, most of the time it looks good (720p is the max output resolution) but of course sometimes it has lag when I run other software for VC or video call (Skype or Discord) Would I also have to download the ShinyWhiteBox software? If I do, I would have to download it on the PC side Which of your tutorials will work well for this, till I get a PC dedicated for gaming and streaming?

Hi, i’ve done everything as you said but the audio of the guests is doubled I don’t know exactly why, but also on obs if i shut up and the guests speak i see in the audio mixer the volume of my microphone going up and down as i am speaking, and i think that’s the problem Is there any solution for it? For cropping, in Windows, just hold the alt key and resize the box with the little handles on the sides it will crop it instead
