Got Covid for first time on New Year’s Day, luckily my symptoms were all in my nose and throat and I tested negative a few days ago Taste almost back to normal now but smell is still a bit wonky in that I can smell most things but a designer perfume I got for Christmas isn’t quite right yet At least strawberry yoghurt has stopped tasting of sick and my orange shower gel smelling burnt I could taste very sour sweet foods like fruit pies a long time before soups or savoury bakery products Interesting to learn why

Hello scholar Mike So nearly two years ago I had a case of covid 19 I completely lost my sense of taste and smell for about a month When it returned, I noticed that I could not eat the same foods I charted those foods and found that anything 45 or less on the pH level was unpalatable Meat, and all kinds of food that was normally great Porridge to an extent, etc but it was a good year before I could even get near the smell of the lower pH food Still, I'm not entirely rid of this What is the scientific explanation for this?

Has anyone coincidentally lost their smell shortly after receiving the Pfizer booster? Up until receiving it, I have NEVER had Covid Even before and after taking it, I’ve tested negative more times than I can even count Under a week after receiving the booster with no prior issues whatsoever, my sense of smell disappeared entirely I have no issues with taste whatsoever, just smell I have done x-rays, blood work, etc yet they are still unsure as to what could have caused anosmia as I have no underlying problems I’ve honestly just been getting more and more depressed as the weeks turn to months :(
