this game has a super bad habit of giving you like,16 different ways to go about doing something butbr4 of them end the exact same waybr4 of them you can't do because it's not within your build's skillsbr4 of them require meta gaming to know to do some out of pocket crap you'd never think to trybrand the others aren't even brought up or presented as a option

i cant believe im going to say this but to me takemura is a 50 50 i like him for how he acts but i hate the company he works for i see him as a avantage to help with alot of missions but he a pain

You don’t even have to go the long way You can jump up the first hole without power jump and kill the guards from below Once they all die you can escape and takemura will live

5:30 "trying to gas light and finesse V into signing over THEIR engram" at that point there is no Johnny inside V sothere is no multiple characters On the other hand if you are trying to be "awake" and use a term "they" coz V can be either male or female or whatever you could have just said: "gas light and finesse V to sign over the engram" but you CHOSE to say THEY which is sooo strangebrI really don't care about the "awake" culture of the USA but as an outsidersaying stuff like that makes you SO MUCH HARDER TO UNDERSTAND because some nuances of your language CAN NOT BE TRANSLATED and makes NO SENSE

There's an easier way to get back to him if you have double jump all you have to do is jump back up the hole you feel though and you'll get back to him

Goro feels that be owes his life to Arasaka They took him in and molded him to what he is I don't blame him for being so loyal to them, however I still let him die through my playthrough brbrLike they said in Bioshock: "A man chooses, a slave obeys" Goro is a slave to Arasaka, and I fundamentally cannot accept that Whether it's game or real life, it disgusts me

honestly the game uses goro as a hand holding tool for the player for majority of the story i feel like they were originally going to have him play a different role and not be a corporate lacky anymore i mean does he not see how the corp he works years for worked so hard for just fed him to the wolves when it was coinvent and you want to return to them? that's some high tier Stockholm my guy

I have just ended the game, and while reading alternatives found out I could save him I thought lol the game told me he's dead and i need to get out of the building I didn't even had second thought 'cause there were too many enemies(I played hard diff so it seemed like a sign to leave)brAnyway, I did the Sun ending and now I'm totaly burned and emotionaly damaged

Fun fact, if you have the double jump or maybe even the Super Jump, you can very easily go back up the hole you fell through and get to Goro immediately

Orrr you could just get to Goro by the way you got out : the floorbrbrBy that point in the story I expect you to have the most useful cyberware in the game that is the double jump legs, you can climb up pretty easily through the whole in the floor and follow the steps from there afterwards

if you talk to him before confronting Yorinobu as well, V can even tell Takemura that he should leave Arasaka and he will even have a moment to think about it He won't leave of course but you can see a bit of thought for considering it

The point of saving Takemura is to prove him there's another way He's been a caged bird for too long that he sees the cage as securitybrAnd in his point of view during the Devil ending, he did nothing wrong, and he wasn't being toxic enough to force V to sign the contractbrbrbrbrAnd it's sweeter when you make him commit seppuku for finally realizing his whole life was shit :D
