Just a quick FYI- there is a part of the aloe that can be extracted and is edible, but the whole plant isn’t safe I wanted to mention that because many people have their aloes in the house and it’s a good idea to keep it out of reach of kids and pets 😊

Thank you for sharing these care tips! I got two aloe vera babies from a friend and they didn't do very well in my sunniest windowsill (full day sun), the leaves turning brown at the tips I removed it from the windowsill onto a table without direct sunlight and it looks like it's thriving there :) Excited to see my aloe grow!

Came back to this video because I needed to repot my Aloe that almost died, and Hubby bought me a bigger Aloe yesterday and it was definitely root bound! The only thing I have no cactus/soil so I had to mix potting soil, perlite and added orchid bark for extra drainage, hoping they survive and thrive in this mix, we'll see!!🥰🙏🙏

Please tell us how to get rid of pest or parasites, my aloe plants keeps getting attacked which i try to remove manually but it happens too often, I don't know how pesticides at shops would affect my plants Also they don't seem to like the sun even if very mild and even when the sun is not directly on it When i keep them away even from the slightest sunlight they get greener I've never had aloes that grow enough before they die or get sick, i think it's the pest They all look like the baby aloe exposed and take very long to grow

Aloe gel (the inner part of the aloe leaf) is not toxic at all and wonderful for treating irritable bowel disorders, ulcerative colitis, and many other digestive issues There are plenty of videos on this and how to harvest for digestion

Hi, I live in Richmond, Virginia and have a large Aloe that I have to replant in a new planter, I keep inside in the winter and put outside in summer The east side of my house is mostly shade so that would be the right place to have it Right???

Actually Aloe gel is medicinal when orally consumed as well It helps with cough and digestion issues But, it's slimy and tasteless so I don't wanna eat it

Very informative and helpful! Every article was was too confusing and specific, ie “NEVER let your lowest aloe vera leaves be lower than 3/4 away from the pot!” I’ll definitely be applying this rules to my aloe Vera, and thanks for demonstrating how much fertilizer to use! I need to ask you one question, the other day I got this plant arrangement at a Store called Lowe's, Well any way, it had 2- aloe vera plant in it, And some succulent plants , I notice the soil was so wet, It must of been water to much, But my aloe vera plant , The leaves are drawing thin, Is it because it was water to much 😵‍💫🤦😬 It look ok at first when I got it I havent water the arrangement since the day I got it

What do you do when they just want to lay around , I have it in front of a large window ( not close) and the pot is in a 6" pot but some of the leaves are starting to hang over the sides what do I do ? the plant stands 18" high and wants to fall over

Our Aloe plant is enormous It has maybe 20 "pups" that have sprouted off of the main one I looked up this video because recently, the plant has become so heavy that it seems like it cannot hold itself up Why would that be? It's entire system is heaved over the side of the pot Again, my mom bought it so I have no idea about how she takes care of it
