A female teacher of mine went on Family Feud in the 80s and related het experience to the class She said Richard Dawson reeked of alcohol, and it was expected that they kiss him or be kissed by him And of course he is so touchy!

Lol at the parachute panties After WW2, when fabric was still in short supply, it was very common to recycle the silk from parachutes into wedding dresses and underwear I realise that the modern meaning is, panties that go up and down like a parachute - at least that's what it means here in New Zealand but, l thought the earlier usage may interest someone
