need to seal my PVC 15 drain pipe to 15" cast iron, the pvc fits inside perfectly but water comes up from the cast iron, the cast iron is flush with the floor what do i do ?

Does it matter which side of the Uniseal is on the inside/outside? In the video the large side is on the outside and small on the inside, can I install it the other way around? I’m installing one in a storage bin for a sump on my aquarium and there’s 2 groves on the outside that the large side will not fit between but the small side will

what did you use to cut the holes? I tried making a hole in a bucket with a bosch daredevil wood hole saw and it shredded up my bucket and had jagged edges so I couldn't get a seal with my unusual

Instead of using a utility knife, it is far quicker and cleaner to just us a heat gun or lighter to melt any rough edges down

On these you can silicone lubricant It's non-petroleum based and most brands that are pure silicone are aquatic safe I wouldn't use soap ever when washing anything aquarium related except washing filter socks in the laundry is ok Most hand and dish soaps can leave a slight residue even if thoroughly rinsed and most bath soaps are anti-bacterial based which is an obvious no no Just my two cents-each to his own

Gregg, I always enjoy and learn from watching your how-to and product reviews Forgive my ignorance, but how do you know what size to buy? If you buy a 1" PVC pipe, do you buy a 1" fitting or a fitting close to the hole saw size? I, too, am fortunate enough to work at a place that buys H2O2 in the same type of barrel and also we get the large 275 gallon totes I have five right now (four promised to someone) The fifth I am planning to use somehow but haven't quite figured out what I want to do For a flat plastic surface, would you still use a uni-seal or bulk-head fitting instead?

Out of curiosity, do you have a local source for the big blue barrels? It seems that most big box retail places sell 50 gallon drums, but they are pretty pricey
