Is it necessary for the cutting to dry out for 24 hrs? I ask only because I had my main stem break off yesterday during a transplant and I panicked and quickly dipped it in rooting powder and placed in a large glass of water Will it still root or should I take it out and let it dry for 24hrs? Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for sharing this information I am trying to propagate my diffenbachia and wondering if you have any insight In the last five min of this video, you said one can leave the parent stems and new leaves will regrow Do these new leaves typically grow from the cut stem? It appears on mine that there is a black mold growing on the top Any recommendations are appreciated, thank you!

Why do you have to wait 24 hours before you put the plant in water? I have the same plant, I normally just cut it, and put it in water immediately and it grows I've had the plant over 14 years Could you explain why it's important to wait 24 hours a little bit more please?

You should do a followup video with the rooted plants and potting Just an idea Why do you allow it to dry 24 hours before putting it in water? I did this cutting and putting in water process and after 4 months still there are no roots The only thing I did differently was I did not allow it to dry
