My biggest mistake was sticking way to much money in 1 particular thing compared to my other ones which ended up being a bad decision The other is when I go into something as a day trade that if I would have been swing trading it I would have made way more profits

My question is let say you get in a trade will use TSLA , I got in at 218 on the last drop it dropped to 211s I held and the Sold at 220s and it’s at 258 now, but no one know the exact bottom so how do you handle that do you DCA into it or just leave it alone?

Not true that at best 50 of traders could make money That's like saying at worst 50 of traders could lose money which we know isn't true It would be unlikely 40 of losing traders supplied the profits of 60 of winners, but just saying there's no limit on how many people could be profitable Another reason is because theres other ways money enters the market, dividends for example Just my thoughts

Everything depends on the time horizon that your trading This is my biggest issue , if im doing swing trading i place my sl based on the daily chart This is the one thng i have issues with is to know what time frame on the chart to use after i enter my trade ,

This was genius, Scott So down is bad and up is good after all If we do the opposite of counterintuitive thinking, go down buy more and go up take profits, we end up doing what we would have done before we got smart and acted counterintuitively It’s a 180 on a 180 Cut losers and buy the dip on the way up I watch videos all day trying to figure out what I am doing wrong and with this one video I now realize that all my efforts at contrarian thinking have me doing the exact opposite of what I should be doing Thank you!

Very informative Thanks!brI'm pretty new to stocks /etf and consider myself a long/medium term investor who has somehow strayed recently to occasional tradingbrThis was very helpful video, I do recognize some of those negative traits in myself; a bit too hasty to sell when going up and hoping & hoping when going down Bought some (fortunately not much) of this China fund end of last year when I began investing now it's -20 And with 2,5 yearly costs too Ouch At least it's currently the ONLY thing down, apart slightly underwater global bond ETFs brThe problem with investing currently is of course the looming recession Makes it harder to just stay the course and hold long term
