I have been working on static balance on my CRF250L for about 9 months I can balance for over a minute with front wheel in a hole in gravel On grass or concrete I can balance for about 6 seconds Any suggestions you can give me to get past this barrier I practice about 5 days a week for about 15 minutes on static balance I keep blaming the heavier bike but I am sure it is me Thanks for any suggestions Comment from : @user-lv7fj3ev2l |
|
I started doing static balance today in my little patio and i have like the worst settings to practice on Tiles, slight uphill and to much air in the tire LOL! and yeah i did awful couldn't even manage to do it 10 seconds in one go haha but i had a blast doing it! Comment from : @ZauxieMoto |

Thank you so much for creating this series ❤ You're an amazing teacher and the joyous passion that radiates through each lesson is infectious Quick question, can I train on a Hero Xpulse or do I need to have proper dirt bike from the get go (they're really expensive here)? Comment from : @bluesboy017 |

I've watched this video several times, and have practiced some on my "real" bike, but, wanting to do more practice (while in the comfort of my house) I bought a cheap/used BMX bike and can now practice in my living room! lol I'm not very good yet, so I have the front wheel jammed against my desk/ bookcase but any balance practice is still balance practice, right? Comment from : @mikecollins8241 |
|
I'm 57 too and just started trials a week ago This helps me a lot Thank you IRC Tyre guy and Mark Comment from : @Trialstoenduro-vz8iq |

I've been watching some of your videos, and practicing status balance, but after this current tutorial, what a game changer I went from highly inconsistent to now holding balance for over a minute, even 2-minute balance I'm a short rider 5'2" on a 500 KTM, so I wanted to thank you for all these tips It's a practice for sure, but it's going to help with my favorite single tracks rides in Colorado Comment from : @debdinin3926 |
|
Such a great video, thank you! I practiced this for 30 minutes and went from balancing for barely 3 seconds to a minute plus! 👏👏 Comment from : @MrPerattzi |

Hi, thank you for this series! brI have a question about this drill When you are standing up, do you apply downwards pressure to opposite side of handlebar in respect to the pushing leg on the bike ? Or you have to standup only by leg and lean bike more I noticed that sometimes I balance by spreading pressure, for example, between right leg and left hand Similar thing if I do it on a bicycle I don't know if it is good or not Comment from : @inevespace |
|
Man did they place a mic on his boots Comment from : @dis_boy |

This is a very good approach to training the balance Following the video, I immediately proceeded to throw my Crock on, and hopped on my MTB bike in the garage It is not easy with the tires on garage's floor, but I definitely see the purpose in this exercise Also (you're right) the opposite foot is just as difficult Tomorrow, I will take my ADV motorcycle and try in the local mountains Great job, and thank you!
