While I might be liking MK1's gameplay a great deal more than I ever liked MK11's (which I sadly could never really just vibe with it no matter how much I tried MK11 just wasn't fun for me) I can say that the marketing for MK11 was vastly superior to MK1's in almost every fashion I mean god, techno syndrome playing throughout and just the way it's all framed and such for this trailer I still remember how excited I was watching this back in 2019 and the marketing for MK1 never really got close to 11's height for me maybe even MKX had better marketing

Imagine you're a teenager in the 90s who fell into a coma, you're on life support for nearly 25 years, you wake up and guess what bitch the new Mortal Kombat is fucking awesome, Doom Eternal is fucking awesome, Resident Evil is fucking awesome, Metal Gear Solid is fucking awesome, modern Nintendo games are fucking awesome, they made FOUR more freaking PlayStation home consoles with even more great games, PC gaming is stronger than ever, everything looks so amazing on those new flat TVs you can't even really put anything on top of, you grab a controller and start playing and you cry all the time
