Hey Kristina I have a strange story One of my viewers asked me to watch a video compilation he made of my food forest, and his name is patio permaculture I searched it up and came across your channel So I started watching some of your videos and they are really good I subbed to you So I'm curious if you are interested in making a video about eachothers channels The reason for this isbrbrI get a ton of comments on my channel about how to grow stuff in small spaces Apartments, patios, balconies, etc However I've never really done it that way, and I don't like when people talk about stuff they don't know I've been looking for a channel to do a collaboration with who is doing balcony gardening My channel is roughly the same size as yours, and you may really enjoy some of my stuff What I do is permaculture food forest gardening with a focus on creating a wildlife sanctuary and fully edible food ecosystem on my front lawn I'm also all about teaching science in the channel, on WHY things work, now just what to do, but how to do them and why How to build healthy soil, how to transition soil towards the ecosystem you are growing, how to maximize life in the soil, so many things Just based on this video and what you are doing with establishing polycultures in your growing beds, you will probably absolutely adore my videos on doing that in a large scale with thousands of trees, bushes, flowers, creepers, root crops, herbs and vinesbrbrSo if you are interested, check me out, see if I'm someone you would want to work with, and maybe we can each make a video about the other person's channel Maybe we each get a bunch of interested viewers from the other person's channel and build eachother up and spread the word about the importance about growing food edit: I really enjoyed your tier list video, and was glad to see homesteading (when done right) all the way at the topbrbrLet me know, also can email me at permaculturelegacy at gmail dot com

I want to do this but my patio is shaded and the sun is always moving I tried to put my bell peppers outside of my patio but the sun fried my leaves lol so I’m had to bring them back inside and heal them But I feel like I don’t get enough sun in my patio 🥺 they are thriving inside with my growing lights

Great job on your patio garden A couple of things you might consider growing are green onions just buy a bundle from the store and cut off the bottom inch or so including the roots They'll re sprout and you harvest the green shoots over and over all season Likewise leaf lettuce can be harvested over and over during the season
