Great recommendations! My big question moving forward is which of these, if any, are feasible to do when you're visiting via a cruise ship I know you said the hotel is at least 2 hours away from Puerto Plata so I'm curious about the rest of the locations Will have to do more research, but thanks for giving me a list of things to look up! realize that some or many of the people who find this may be looking from the standpoint of a cruise ship visit to Puerto Plata For those people Three of your destinations are very impractical, Punta Russia, Paradise Island, and Dudu lagoon are all around 25 hours one way away from port, not leaving enough time to visit Natural Piscina is about 100 minutes away, and many would not venture that far 27 Waterfalls is about 46 minutes away, and you said an hour hike up You did not say how long to allow there If you allow 1 hour there and 2 hours of hiking plus 15 hours of travel you have 45 hours That leaves cruise visitors time to do that and hit the beach and town Comment from : Rich M2520 |
