Am an 16 yr experienced IT engineer who worked as developer, support and test lead for automation stuffs and most my experience into development but I could realise that am an average Developer, I cannot code from the scratch but i can enhance an already written code Besides trying to improve myself as a developer, wanted to switch over to Devops engineer Now at this juncture wanted to get a clear clarity and your advice whether switching over to Devops engineer is a good idea, given that i will take up all the necessary steps as per your previous videos on steps to become a Devops engineer Will it be easy to clear interviews for Devops engineer if I showcase myself as a Devops role in my earlier project

There was a time that people from backgrounds outside engineering were not getting software developer/engineering jobs but people from all backgrounds such as business and law are into it I envisage in few years time, it will be the same with devops I have hopelol
