I use Levoit humidifiers also and LOVE them I have 2 4L and recently bought a 6L that I haven't used yet Plan on using for winter I'm in midwest USA so winter is very dry! Between my ceiling fan and humidifiers, I'm able to keep the humidity around 60 - 65 in a room open to my living room and it has made an incredible different with my plants in every season! Thank you for mentioning them before, I definitely took your advice and totally agree!

Hey great tip too insulate windows with bubble wrap Mine aren't sealed properly and there is real bad draught that you can feel blowing through when u stand in front of them so this sounds like just what I need Fed up with the housing associations attempts at sealing them properly

That is one of the things I love about living on a tropical island Don't need to worry about humidifiers, or bringing them inside for winter, etc I have everyone in my backyard in dif levels of shade and rotate bringing them indoors when I want a change brbrThat's not to say I don't have any struggles I can't seem to keep begonias alive, my hibiscus plants, for some reason, are a hit or miss kinda deal (they are either gorgeous and thriving or dead 🥺 seriously, I've cried over them), and some of my orchids can be a bit of a pain in the neckbrbrOverall tho, I've noticed that the more I ignore my plants a don't fuss over them, the better they do! 😂

Just found you today - love how engaging you are Just a thought about radiators - I have my parrots in a North facing room and struggle with cold in the winter (I’m in Canada) I need to keep the humidity up for them (and now my plants) I supplement the central heat with an infra-red heater and it does not affect the relative humidity as much as other types of heaters Rather large investment but beats filling humidifiers constantly!
