Hey Man! I have a project to buy LCD screens of 15" that can be used by children as a 24/7 school module in villages far away I want to cost less than $200, use solar power, 12 nice lithium cells, a super tough glass on top of the LCD, and a standard laptop touchpad with cellotape and 3 wires in case we should change the touchpad The idea is that 3-5 kids can learn from thousands of books for about 10 years until the system breaks everything is fixed in cheap steel frame and metal-cement housing so it stays in one place what do you think?

Man can i connect a diffrent tipe of display on my broken Tab, It has an amoled display can i wont to connect an LCD FPS more cheeper, ore to connect to an television monitor some how, i can't use the mirroring or the HDMI adapter because It have to activate debug USB end i don't have the possibility untile i don't see anythink

I am trying to refurbish the touch screen from an Android car radio, it has separate two wires plug for backlight and like a 50 pin or so flat cable It's a 7" Nice display and I'd like to use iitbrThe car radio amplifier went out, but the display works, so I pulled it out

50p controllers can use 40pin raw TTL screens, by ignoring the avdd/vcom/vgh/vgh pins, as the screens have that internallybrbrI found two "50p-rgb" screen to 40pin TTL FPC adapter boards on alliexpress one had 4 pins to use external booster module another had the boost converter onboard of course requires 5v supplybrbrso its not possible to passive convert 50pin display to work on 40pin controller (lvds or TTL)

Hi, how you can choose the right lcd screen for a board? I bought a 19 usd lcd 7 inch with 50 pin to replace one from a 7 inch monitor and it I the new screen it seems to be in a different resolution but there is no way in the OSD to re-adjust the new screen to fit the right resolution I think I just did a bad purchase choice (im dont have electronic repair backgroud or similar) it just for a retropie project

Very fascinating overviewAlthough one thing I'm wondering is whether or not there is an lcd interface for driving a 50pin via SPI I had recently gotten an adafruit a 40pin 5" tft display, with a 40pin spi driver I control it via an esp32 It's great and all but I really wanted to go with a 7" instead Problem is that adafruit is out of stock I do have a 7" 50 pin lcd who's hdmi driver board died by overvoltage a while back and now i wonder if I can find an spi driver for it

I agree, it's a bit of a mess That board in the nano pc display is for power and touch The custom pinout is so they can send 5v for the display and get back the touch info The displays need a special voltage supplies which the breakout boards create Good video :)

I have a broken tablet lcd N080JCE (8 inch -1920x1200) lcd I tried getting by a board from AliExpress and it couldn’t drive it properly I only see horizontal and vertical lines and colors, dont see any images or alphabets, just lines What does that mean? Is the controller incompatible or the lcd is faulty? Its a 39-pin MIPI , 4 data lanes IPS lcd I really want to get this lcd working because its a very high quality and good viewing angle lcd panel that i dont want to throw away What do you suggest?
