Open the back case there will be a peice of metal that looks like a throughing star unscrew and clean the paste off reapply thermal paste! Antartic Mx-6 thermal paste ! This will stop the mac from over heating and keep the cpu cool and your computer will stop crashing! The thermal paste that apple use is cheap and useless after while!

I have to say that it seems very weird WHY it re-starts Even an old pc will not start on its own Thats why you have a power button :-) I kill the power on the wall socket This would never have happened under Steve Jobs He must turn in his grave about the morons tinkering with his software

Can't get it to run long enough to do any of these things It will sit on the recovery start up for quite some time if I don't put in any network settings, but as soon as I do, it restarts

Im tempted to just factory reset my Macbook As any external monitor or usb hub seems to prompt a restart Even when resetting everything My fear is my SMC somehow how got cooked or altered because it cant even turn on with a 100 battery without being plugged in It instantly restarts if a app opens I have everything disconnected now just to perform a backup but wonder if a mac reset will help since every other step hasnt Without being able to use my usb hub for hard drives and peripherals, its dead in the water
