I remember watching the Supergirl (1984) Movie starring Helen Slater ! The Supergirl (1984) Movie was fairly descent Actress: Helen Slater would not do anything related to Superman until the year 2007 when she made guest apperances on the 'Smallville', TV series (2001-2011)

The scene is national and Supergirl making friends with Lois Lane cousin or sister I don’t remember what she supposed to be a cousin or sister but the one thing I got wrong about her disguised as a normal human girl they forgot she supposed to wear glasses her disguise reminds me of Hannah Montana when they go bath back-and-forth they have brown hair and yellow hair

This is a good movie! Unfortunately, the reason this didn’t do good was because it came out after Superman three and that is just when people were getting tired of these movies because they weren’t bringing anything new to the table But I’m really happy that Supergirl was introduced during the Christopher Reeve era!

Supergirl 1984 is an underrated classic, and a worthy entry in the Donnerverse because it expanded the universe with Argo City and Supergirl's battle with Selena We haven't magic users in the series until this one The only thing it needed was Christopher Reeve to appear But at least Chris and Helen met in NYC around the time of it's release I wish mobile phones existed at that time!brbrJerry Goldsmith's score, Helen Slater's performance, Faye's over the top performance, the practical effects, going INTO the Phantom Zone (more world building) and beautiful cinematography I'd rather watch this fun classic over the sterile, factory made Marvel schlock

Marc McClure was the only star from the Superman movies starring Christopher Reeve to appear in Supergirl as Jimmy Olsen It would've been interesting to Margot Kidder in this film as Lois Lane and to see how the reporter would react seeing a flying girl in a costume similar to Superman's before finding out that she's his cousin
