I would say the Costco is better than Sam’s club because according to myFICO forums, people noted you can use your Costco at any gas stations to get the 5-4 on gas so long as you use it at the pump and not inside the gas station 🤔brAlso, custom cash is great and so is PenFed Not sure about Sam’s club if you get the same deal at other gas stations

Do you know if the Sam’s Club Mastercard will give 5 back at Supermarkets with Gas Stations attached such as Vons Fuel, Ralph’s Fuel, etc? I have tried AMEX and my Citi Costco card at these types of fuel stations and because they’re supermarkets with attached gas stations, they do not count as a gas multiplier

PenFed Platinum is only available as a Visa Signature card, so someone who does not qualify for a $5k card will not be approved for this one Outside of that, I have not heard of it being that difficult to get And CLI requests are a hp, but can be huge 5x back on gas is uncapped That's only what you buy at the pump, it does not include the other stuff you buy in the "gas station" Points are redeemable as gift cards, usually at 085 cents per point, so 5x is actually 425 back (I have found gift cards for 1 cent per point I got a $25 Domino's card for 2500 points recently, but I don't count on that) It also pays 3x, which is 255, on groceries INCLUDING Walmart and Target This is a card I keep in my wallet all the time

penfed has a 5 cashback card on gas as well but you can't get that reward back as statement creditThat was a downer :( The hilton surpass/hilton business cards have 6 point back on gas but I think its valued at a little over 3 return
