My guess, crypto will pump before the stock market crashes But when the stock market crashes it will probably have a correction But in my opinion, once that happens and we see bitcoin dump about 40 The price is probably not going below 10K If you look at that S&P chart, the price action has been moving up and creating higher highs since 2018 but that's when the crypto winter started So how is this correlated exactly? Stock markets have been creating higher highs during 2018 and 2019 but crypto as a whole has been in a bear market until maybe recently So that's what I see in the chart and the chart doesn't lie Comment from : Antonio Alvarez |

Even though a bunch of smart people might not agree I think BTC and SPX go their separate ways I feel like that is going WAY out on a limb, because in some ways, it doesn't make sense But that's my guess I believe the only thing buoying the stock market is stimulus The economy and the stock market seem to have completely disconnected Historic averages would have put the event driven bear market's larger downtrend in August, but I think stimulus has kept the market afloat So many things are setting up for a stock market downtrend, but it also seems like many things are setting up for a BTC run The signs point to something that (like Steve says) has no precedent Anything could happen of course, but my call is crypto up and SPX down As a side note: If the separation between the stock market and the crypto world happens, maybe this gives crypto enough spotlight to stand on its own going forward and garner a wider scale public acceptance Right now crypto/blockchain is primarily speculative, but with wide scale public acceptance maybe the concepts that drive blockchains foundational purpose will take root Comment from : Thomas A |
