They might want to do this like the territorial forces in a few of the close to Russia countries Train individuals who live in the same area to operate together as units for their community and establish command structures for a particular region so that the regular military can coordinate activities in the event of invasion

i think its better if they train using real guns for every training they need to master the recoil, it wouldnt be the same if in real situation, not just tactics needs to learn but the recoil guns, otherwise if in real war they gonna get trouble aiming at enemy,im just concern about taiwan about the chinese gonna invaded, chinese has been violated many airspace and sea around south east asia country and thats makes other country are not very in the good mood,

I think a civilian military is also an important defensive power for Taiwan, because normal civilians can also help defend the homeland, but there are several issues that have never been discussed before: How to store weapons during peace time? How to acquire weapons when war breaks out? And how to gather the defensive units in real time? This needs to be rehearsed again and again in order to be fully prepared

As a retired American US Army Infantryman, we will assist in your defense from China I know you are great fighters and will fight to the death but I hope that never happens You must harden yourselves more than you can imagine Gather additional medications for your loved ones by any means possible and a couple months of food If your neighbors learn that you’re doing this, they’ll try to take it from you so keep it quiet Buy some low cost UHF radios and a way to charge the batteries, also buy a gas mask that can filter down to 4 microns and have a few additional filters For water purification, buy some swimming pool chlorine pellets, it only takes a small amount to kill anything bad in the water To get rid of the chlorine smell, just pour the chlorinated water back and forth into containers allowing the chlorine to dissipate in the air and it’ll be fine to drink but, don’t use much of the chlorine pellets! And never assume anything with anyone, know and verify things with your own eyes
