As someone who suffered from schizophrenia, I can tell you that when I experienced perseveration speech, it was like my brain was trying to get to the next word but my speech was hung up on and repeating the previous word So I have to disagree about perseveration speech lacking purpose Great video though 👍

The voices that a schizophrenic hear are distinguishable from their own inner monologue As if there is a disembodied person speaking to them in a negative tone For some strange reason5 of my childhood friends suffer from schizophrenia One described it as six different men bullying him at all times A doctor by the name of Dr Terrence Palmer is doing amazing work and seemingly curing people of this incurable affliction But his methods are frowned upon by the scientific community I think that science needs to expand the parameters of its method to combat this particular disease Just my opinion
