It's amazing how little difference in CPU Performance in 10 years I personally used this CPU up until jan 2023 for working at home And never once failed me wish I still had it; the only reason I got rid of it was I had no storage roombrbrMy new computer a Core™ i7-13700 is faster but the computer has broken down twice in 9 months Obviously, the build quality isn't what it used to beIf you only use your computer for work I find a few new parts about 5 years in will give you another 5 years use

I've noticed one thing that with these early gen i3 processors amd gpu dont go that well, maybe try pairing somethint like an 1650 or a 1060 3gb it will provide a much better experience From my personal experience

my father owns an i3 2120, i came to his home with my 1660super and expected to play son league of legends on holidays but man, its unplayable for my standards, i already ordered an i5 2500 for $12 do you think would be enough? playing on a 1440p monitor 165hz

i have it and it pretty bad for running aplication in 2022 like some photoshop,filmora and for gaming the cpu always 100 maybe because 2 cores 4 threadsbut the computer still can work in some office application

It really depends on the type of games you would like to play I got a classic i3 3220 paired with 750ti and 6Gb of ram Nothing crazy or competitive but it can actually run warzone 35-40fps avg on 720p low On other better optimized games like Escape from Tarkov, Forza Horizon 5 or Life is strage it can easily handle really stable 60fps 720p or 30fps 1080p Just to say that 2nd or 3rd gen i3’s are more that enough for low profile gamers like myself
