I am running Lakka 231, I got the dreamcast working and it runs the games pretty well but upon booting up the pi4 today non of the games that worked a few days ago are booting, I cant even get the splash screen when I load something other than a dreamcast file What happened? Hi ETA PRIME I subscribed your channel I have tested the last version from Monka unnoficial Retropie, and the games from Atomiswave and some games from Naomi (first gen) is running very smooth now I couldn't play the gamecube emulatorI liked this Lakka, but don't shows everything from Naomi and Atomiswave (same with Dreamcast and some roms from GBA) How do you do it? Based on the glmark2-es2 score, the Pi4 GPU is about twice as powerful as the Pi3 (score 200 for the Pi4 vs 100 for the Pi3), so there should be some improvement, but this glmark score is still CRAP compared to anything with a REAL GPU like the Nvidia Jetson Nano which consistently hits glmark2 and glmark2-es2 scores OVER 2050 (more than TEN TIMES the GPU performance of the Raspberry Pi4) So if retrogamers want to run games on an ARM based SBC, they should be concentrating their development on a more powerful board like the Nano The one good thing about the Pi4 is that since most emulation will run with 1G RAM, you can cheap out and go with the 35 dollar Pi4 and save some cash if the Pi's mediocre performance isn't too much of an issue for you Comment from : Steve B |
