I've had some issues with my PS3 - I need to install OFW For some reason all the options in recovery mode are greyed out? HDD is only the 40GB one I've downloaded OFW 486 but doesn't seem to see it and thinks the HDD isn't there? Just to add - I don't have a BR drive Any advice? Thank you!

My console is at 350 OFW (never uptaded) and MinVerCheck says "340" so it means I can jailbreak it, right? Ok, so I asked some friends and they told me that in my case, I could update to 4842 REX EDITION REBUG from my curret 350 OFW and that I don't need HFW or anything and I can directly install this 4822 Is this true? brbrWill my conolse get bricked? @modded warfare hey so I know this video is SUPER old or whatever I truly need help at 7:35 how the app just allows you to extract the file into the update file, well I’m doing this on my laptop so idk if that’s going to cause a complication but when I click on the PS3UPDAT file it pops up with “open with” and when I tried to click on one of them it’ll take be to this “payed” version of a extract zip file How do I get that extract zip file app that you have at 7:35
