Those calculators, you put 82W for electricity use, but that does not take into consideration other electricity that your rg/PC is drawingbrAs I understand, lets say I have a rig/PC with one RX580, that card is drawing 82W, but the whole PC is drawing much more? Like 200 W or whatever?brThat is double the electricity for the calculator

got 2 rigs, totaling 12 580, bios modded 30-31mh/s at 105w - Love them Cheap, good MH/s, great card to start miningbrBut, consider that for the price of 12 you can spend the same amount of money for 5700 and only have 1 rig Which is nicer

You should get actual hash rate and power consumption numbers rather than using WTM estimates My 4gb rig runs a WAY higher actual hash rate and less power than the estimates thrown out by Whattomine It can drastically change how you look at profitability

It seems everything is working for you but be mindful of longer cables, running a PCIe lane over USB cable is way off the spec sheet and they are using short cables for a reason

This video is so damn mis-leading Those cards are running close to 90-100w in software meaning your power draw at wall is going to be close to 140-150w which tanks the profitability Poor poor video Hope no one watching this takes references Get a damn watt meter for the love of things

I nabbed 4 rx 580's and 3 rx 570's mining eth at 216 mh/s at 726 watts via hive about 950 at the wall stable about 305 per gpu averagebrbrmost of my rx580 settings are 311 mh/s at 75-80 watts via hive, 1150, 1 , 850, 2050 @ 51c 85 fan speed and using the AMD memtweak

The Ravencoin numbers look so different because its not actually gonna use 170 watts more like 140 with overclock Same with Eth hive shows 80 watts but you're using more like 100-120 watts

I had some, but sold them because i got some vega 56, 64 and RX 5700 instead(for cheap, 300-350$ each) so no longer had room they did great otherwise, around 32-33 mhs Eth and 90-100w if i remeber it right i had Sapphires and Asus tho i sold the RX 580's for around 250$, pretty much what i paid for them
