great tutorial, but I highly doubt the ring particles of a planet are the size of a moon Saturn's rings are mostly the size of a grain of sand, not of a planet

3:20 With 33 You can just put a Transparent BSDF node in the place of the Principled BSDF for the ring to make it invisible

Great tutorial Kev, but It seems me and a lot of other people are stuck at 2:19 Our rings just stretch like a big donut and don't have a filled center I tried "Looking at the window when you first make it" but none of the settings accomplish what you do Is there a fix or is it just that Blender doesn't work that way anymore? I copied the rocks as hair into the torus but the light like multiplied with it and almost crashed blender, how do I stop so much light being produced from the rocks? Thanks for the awesome tutorial! (I would appreciate if someone could let me know!! :))

Is there anyway to make the scale of the scene lifelike? Like making the sun much larger than the gas giant, but far far away, and making the sun emit light rather than a point light? I tried my hand at it, but the sun looks featureless and dead, and the light barely does anything?brbrObviously realife scale of several astronomical units is impossible, im talking about real life scale, but scaled down so its usable in Blender Like if had 2 cubes separated by 10 m irl, id make a blender scene with those cubes being made smaller and separated by 1 m instead
