For everyone here in 2021, before following any of that, first test DirectX 12 My FPS with all the things he said and switching from DX11 to DX12 made me go from 10fps to 70fps I don't know why it was so ungodly low, but this fixed it Comment from : J Dubs |

I'm Amazed how well this worked Not sure which part for sure but I'm assuming something with AA tied to particle effects; because I was having 0 fps issues other than when particle effect heavy in your face events took place And just to note I had already actually disabled AA in the menu I'm playing in 2k @ 144hz so the drops were insanely noticeable, but replaying the same part minutes after doing this (mainly he control panel AA setting im guessing) it's just about flawless and there are no, noticeable anyway, hiccups Thank You! Guys, for me DX12 helped a lot! 3700x, 32GB 3200 CL14 (overclocked to 3600 CL16 and fast subtimings), gtx1080 DX11 was almost unplayable Stuttering almost every single time I killed an enemy I activated DX12, it is a lot better! Try it guys, for me it definetely helped! Comment from : Vincent K |

one problem with borderlands 3 and 'how it looks' vs 'how it performs' is, imo anyway, that while it has a very stylised aesthetic it uses some very complex shaders and particle effects that really hit the gpu hard Comment from : JayJay Golden |

brset to medium-low the other heavy impact settings and almost 90
brof the frame drops will be eradicated Works perfectly with my RX 580

When I first installed the game I was getting good fps around 8090 but after I updated the NVIDIA drivers in hopes of better fps, the game now runs in 6070 on the benchmark, there is probably something weird with the drivers too, I usually don't update the drivers often, before the update the drivers were from maybe 34 months ago or more Comment from : Mr Beerscuit |

Borderlands 2 also never really got the optimization it needed I redownloaded it before buying and playing BL3 I was sad to notice that I got so many FPS drops, in such an old game, with great hardware Right now I capped my FPS at 80, just for a smoother experience But this is really annoying because I have a 144hz monitor Playing on such ''low" FPS is sad to see, on a game that looks almost exactly the same as borderlands 1/2 So it's been a few weeks since release and I don't see improvements Sure, they fixed some FPS drop related problems but the total amount of FPS we're getting is way lower than I feel like we should actually getbrbrbrHopefully I can cap the FPS above 100 soon GTX 1070 and Ryzen 5 2600 @4ghz btw Comment from : NaTe |
