Another great video Love your work and your vlog I've been out a couple of times since I first found your channel here on youtube I really got inspired by your tips and have started a different approach Before I came across your channel I constantly were walking around with my camera on my chest looking for those nice shorts My eyes caught something and I quickly lifted the camera and got a couple of shots and went on with my journeybrbrI've started mapping locations on google and want to go back there when the light and the surroundings are about right By the way putting data INTO MyMaps from an iPhone is not that streamlined The webpage is not the best option You got an app for input of data?brbrSo I took your tips and tricks and went out to a location I thought of and started wandering around as you said in this video Found a perfect spot and spent a good amount of time collecting data The result was not what I expected but now I know what to do next time I'm at the same locationbrbrThanks for sharing your knowledge Comment from : Christian Jensen |

BEST TIP EVER!!! "DON'T find good light and look for a composition; rather DO find a good composition and wait for the light" Simply brilliant, and speaks volumes to me brI'm technically a great photographer, but have been trying to learn how to be great at composition From all the photography YouTube channels I watch, yours is helping me the most Good composition is just so hard to do and I'm seeing an improvement there for me I thank you for that :-)brHave a great day Nigel, and be safe out there! Comment from : Hangs4Fun |
Great video as always! Many times, I am more seduced by the lights ,hence the composition is slacked behind I must take note on “ waiting for light “ and take my time ¡brThx for sharing Comment from : Bernard Lim |
Great timing Nigel I was up 5am on the east coast of Vancouver Island this morning and watched your video before heading out With all the forest fires in my area right now the sky is filled with smoke so the light is quite flat and dull I got to practice my patience and composition skills this morning Lines , light and texture were the words of the morning! Comment from : mason laver |
nice video Comment from : J a y |
I'm a Cadbury Dairy Milk guy myself Great video Thanks for sharing! Comment from : Shawn |
Great tips mate number 1 for me take your time!! Remember why it is that we take pictures in the first place it’s not for money, it’s not for any requirement for validation, it’s because we love and adore the world around us and we have that sense of wow! I take pics for me and I hope others can see what I see Cheers Jase Comment from : Jason Kennedy |
