hi, I have an acer nitro 5 an 517-52, I followed the advice in the video, the PC is fine but I wanted to ask you, my 3060 GPU reaches up to 2100mhz without undervolt at dark temperatures, I set it as in the video to 1650mhz but by doing so I lose fps by lowering the value from 2000 to 1650 or does it not change at all???

Ty for the quide friend Fastest and smoothest i found on y2 One additional tip You can save this undervolt profile to be used as a default for 3d apps Click floppy disk icon, save as number 1 (for example) profile, go into the settings and in profiles tab set number 1 as default for 3d apps I believe MSI doesnt use your undervolt as default w/o this, and you need to manually activate this on OS start

The 11370H is a huge bottleneck and it gets even worse when thermal throttled Since there is no way to undervolt the CPU, I decided to follow your recommendation and I can say that the the minimum framerates improved considerably The GPU runs way cooler though it wasn’t a huge problem even before, but the CPU still manages to reach pretty high temps (90 and above) though there’s overall less frequency throttling Need to test in some other games but I’m already pretty happy with the results Thank you!

I just had 3060 max q 80w scale to 105w I flashed vbios with 115w version and undervolt it It runs cooler and had around 10 to 15 procent fps boost Im happy thank you 0750v scale to 1702mhz

Man, hello, i have a little problem I have the same videocard as you - but your settings doesnt drop my temperature at all and i anyway have 88 degress in games, and thats very high and lowers my performance because of card - throttling My laptop is pretty new, i bought it 6 months ago in the store so thats not the case of termopaste Have you decision for me? Because 88 degrees is pretty damn high! My power usage is always 40W, it doesnt depends on settings if you intersted, and my voltage is 670 - 750 with your settings

I have a Legion 5 RTX 3060 and tried both options and got the following results:brbrWithout overclocking: FPS: 1315, Score: 3311, Min FPS: 266, Max FPS: 2716 and Temperature was averaging around 86brWith 1st option (Performance): FPS: 1250, Score: 3148, Min FPS: 335, Max FPS: 2522 and Temperature was averaging around 80brWith 2nd option (Improved thermals): FPS: 1188, Score: 2991, Min FPS: 284, Max FPS: 2374 and Temperature was averaging around 76brbrMy main goal I guess is to avoid the laptop to "overheat" as much as possible, I like seeing the temps below 80 and the last option does that but it decreases performance quite a bit (around 10) Is there a setting that I could use to have the temps under 80 and more or less the same performance as the 1st option?brbrGreat video btw!!

After tuning/undervolting 6 3060 and 3060ti it seems voltage-floor which vram downclocks to 10GHz is 731-756mv depending on binning etc 2 vards did 731mv, 3 did 743mv, 1 756mv Typically at 731mv one card can do 1620MHz, another could max to 1590MHz The worst binned card needed 750mv for 1590MHz, so not a big variance

Thanks for the help Undervolting always intimidated me but this is a good route for people who don’t know too much about it Also disabled cpu boost through ResEdit and got my cpu from 95 down to 65 degrees with minimal performance loss in the games I play Thanks for the help!

Great video, thanks a lot! brI have an ASUS TUF A15, RTX3060, did as shown I have not tested it in games yet, only 3DMark, but the number of points in the GPU test has increased from 2310 (non modified config) to 2396 (this is with 750mV change)brbrAlso, I put in the program plus 118 of power consumption (max available) - the number of points increased even more, up to 2614 brWorks stably, ran half-hour 3DMark stress tests  Now need to test games, not sure it has any gaming effects:)
