Matt Brodacki
I got a fastcap million dollar stick to hold small pieces close to the miter saw… I only had to pickup one finger at a job site and learned the danger is realbrbrHe was a skilled carpenter but did a giant job of composite floor prior to a high end built in closet and the blade had worn out and become dangerous without his knowledge The dull blade ripped a small piece quickly to the side and his finger went with the force of the wood under and he lost a finger :-/brbrLove the content, thanks for sharing!
Comment from : Matt Brodacki

Jim Sloan
If I need to pick one to start with would you recommend a sliding miter saw or a table saw Primarily for making cutting boards and bird houses

Comment from : David Barnett

Steve Iv
Another good idea to get those inside measurements, make yourself a sliding dovetail , and 45 degree the ends, install a thumb screw , use like a telescoping slide, the 45 degree ends allows you to get up nice and tight Put into position, tighten thumb screw and measure with your tape afterwards for a solid measurement And your right brother about those pocket holes, they are super strong joinery with a little glue, I believe it was one of your videos that convinced me to use pocket holes, I wasn’t a fan based on the blue plastic brand, but once you did a review on that sweet Messca I was sold and never looked back since Cheers Matt , awesome job
Comment from : Steve Iv

I enjoy your channel and this video was good I also want to say that I respect your religious beliefs even though I don't share them But I didn't appreciate that bit of evangelism disguised as a bonus wood working tip It's cool to share and talk about your belief and I know to expect a bit of it when coming to your channel but I don't want to feel like I'm being tricked into it Sorry, probably this won't be a popular comment, but I just wanted to mention it as it left a bad taste in my mouth

Comment from : John lp

Darin Hamilton
I always like good tips Sometimes they are so simple, you wonder why you didn't think of it One thing I always have to pay attention to when using a track saw is to make sure I put the track on the correct side of the line / marks I try to remember to put visible marks on the scrap side It can be more of an issue when cutting plywood into multiple similar dimensions
