Great video! Thank you! I find the capital one travel portal super expensive Can you explain how to get the price matching?
Comment from : @ElonaX

@jennyaroz351
Wait can someone help explain "CPP" a bit better? Like what does it mean to get "CPP" while using your miles?
Comment from : @jennyaroz351

@mlodyme3675
I like the option to get cash just in case if I dont feel like traveling, but 5 redemption rate is a total f rip off from CapitalOne Even Chase, while having crap category multiplies for typial spending (no gas for instance) is giving 1 to 1 for redeeming Ultimate Points for cash
Comment from : @mlodyme3675

@bialeipelthollfmann9226
I love sprit for me it works perfect

Thanks amigo You just saved me from taking the bad deal on cash brbrI’m also trying to use my rewards to travel to the Philippines now I just checked flights a couple days ago and they are insanely expensive compared to what used to be normal; at least twice as expensive

I would love to know if you need to be a "member" or sign up to lets say, Turkish airlines profile , in order to transfer your C1 milesIm planning a trip to Switzerland and it looks like it's going to be with TAP Airlines (Portugal airlines) so that's my question
Comment from : @KatrinaGustavRuled

@jenbianchi2428
This video was so helpful! Thank you! Putting in another vote for you to do an in depth transfer partner video for international/domestic/ AND hotels! brI have the Alaska credit card (almost 15 years), my husband has the United Explorer card (almost 8 years), I have Platinum status with Expedia, and I am totally overwhelmed trying to figure out which travel card would be best to work with everything we already have! We are also platinum honors with BofA, so even contemplating their premium rewards card for cash back but worried about never having miles 😔 Would love any help!
Comment from : @jenbianchi2428

@chloedelmolin3235

@charp1124
You’re the reason I got this card I love your videos!
Comment from : @charp1124

@xRaramuri
Capital One calls them “miles” because their marketing point is that cardholders should redeem their “miles” for travel (rentals, hotels, airfare) through the Capital One Travel portal Hence the card line “Venture” as in explore
Comment from : @xRaramuri

@wizardfones4113
thinking of getting this Ven ture X and dropping Delta Skymiles Platinum So, the best way to use the points is to transfer to Airlines ? Please advise

I want to say thank you for all the information you are giving I am pretty new to the credit card game I have an aadvantage card that I’ve been using for miles I’ve been seeing the red aviator I think it’s called Would that card be worth getting Is there a travel partner for capital one that would have AA? I’m thinking of getting the venture x Thank you for the help
Comment from : @BigRey503

@timeout3033
The one HUGE prob with the transferring is that almost never is it cheaper to buy a flight directly through the airline By simply fishing through various search engines I can find a much cheaper option
Comment from : @timeout3033

@alexandrovega7941
Video is very informative and useful Keep up the great videos 🛩

Comment from : @JohnDoe-wj8dv

Comment from : @DrRazaKhan

@abhisonani6332
What is the USA Credit card that Tourist can get?
Comment from : @abhisonani6332

@ryanhunt9463
I know you talk about transferring cashback from the Savor One card to Venture X miles, but can it go the other way? What is the exchange rate? That could help to get the 1 cent-per-point for cash if miles transfer 1:1 to cashback on a non-travel card
Comment from : @ryanhunt9463

@Archt1cStreams
Does this work for Venture One as well?
Comment from : @Archt1cStreams

@kindness2280
Incredible video, thanks for the insight Two questions if you know I just opened a venture one rewards card with a welcome bonus of 20k points after spending $500 within the first 3 months Do I get those points automatically once I spend $500 in the first 3 months? Or do I wait until 3 months no matter what? Additionally can I ease some of the cost transferring points to an airline even though I don’t have the full points required? Thanks!
Comment from : @kindness2280

@keinlanz

Comment from : @JunjiArriola

@koffkoff9041
Would you recommend the venture rewards, or the savor/savor one rewards from capital one?
Comment from : @koffkoff9041

@alienhippie12
To transfer miles to a partner airline, you need an account with that partner Do partner airlines charge their own annual membership fee?
Comment from : @alienhippie12

@Roaddawg1964
John, you’re killing it! I learned so much from you in this video Is there any way to transfer Capital One ‘miles’ 😜 to get into the Marriott Bonvoy program? I’m dying to stay at the Westin in Perth, Australia, this holiday season, and have a ton of Capital One miles
Comment from : @Roaddawg1964

@comicninja6742
Another video just like the other 100 on how to use miles for Europe and Asia 😂 at least change it up and use Mexico or a different country than the same as every other guide video

Never choose credit on card over getting a check or deposit, you lose 1-5
Comment from : @GolemDude

@ocgm9426
I wouldn't spend two cents on Beyonce tickets, and if given them, I'd sell them to someone who think she's worth seeing for a 300 mark up 😂😂 Great great video, tho I really learned a lot
Comment from : @ocgm9426

@jetduongofficial
Thanks for all the videos you made I've learned a lot from them Quick question: how did you decide which Airline partner to transfer to I tend to look for Asian airlines to fly to Asia but in this case you chose British Airways
Comment from : @jetduongofficial

@BaibaSK92
I have had capital one platinum for years and I am just sick of it to be honest I hate it I stopped using it because they would never increase my limit Years latter I am still at 500 dollars I always make sure I pay my bill before even the due date and I can’t use the freaking card like debit card all I can spend on the card is maximum of 10 which is 10 dollars a month like what’s the point of the card?🤦🏼‍♀️
Comment from : @BaibaSK92

@christopheresquivel4169
I have the quicksilver card, should I product change it to the savor one?
Comment from : @christopheresquivel4169

@figueroajose7841
This is the best video I’ve seen explaining point redemption value Can you do chase, citi, BofA as well Also can you do a video comparing the CC issuers and who has the best value for point system Like compare the best type of redemption from CapOne vs the best redemption from Chase
Comment from : @figueroajose7841

@Clairebear617
So helpful! Thank you!
Comment from : @Clairebear617

@NellyCupcakes
Man thanks for explaining it made more sense
Comment from : @NellyCupcakes

@cd9954
Video was unnecessarily long, more in depth about the partners should have been all the video was about
Comment from : @cd9954

@oicned5254
Now you're talking will have to look for that Philippines flight to Boracay!
Comment from : @oicned5254

@steftrando
I would also talk about the opportunity cost of spending so many miles on business class fares If you blow 70,000 miles on one single flight, you should be also calculating What is the opportunity cost of that? How many economy flights could I have redeemed for that, same number of miles? Let’s say the answer is you can book a single economy flight for 20,000 miles That means in my head when you blow 70,000 miles that has an actual cost of around $700 of lost opportunity
Comment from : @steftrando

@liosnelgonzalezcasas
I love your videos bro 🤜🏻🤛🏻🙌🏻
Comment from : @liosnelgonzalezcasas

@JimOutLoud
Such awesome content I am loving my Capital One Venture X card obtained based on your guidance
Comment from : @JimOutLoud

@ArmandRoseTV
Good breakdown I personally would not fly Turkish to MNL but I'd consider Singapore airlines which is a partner so that could be a good option
Comment from : @ArmandRoseTV

@thetelebuddies
Literally dropped this video at the perfect time I was just googling this type of video 😭🔥
Comment from : @thetelebuddies

@SpencerJohnsonOfficial
Those transfer partners can provide some killer value if you find the right bookings!! I've found some good value in Capital One's travel portal as well, but at the end of the day, transfer partners are almost always the best way to go as you displayed here Nice video John!
Comment from : @SpencerJohnsonOfficial

@LacDole
I realized that a while back with my Discover & Citi cards If I took the cash value I was losing money, while I could get gift cards to places I regularly do business with and gained another 20 cash back
Comment from : @LacDole

@Mike-vi9bg
What’s the best hotel transfer partner?
Comment from : @Mike-vi9bg

@dsmproject95
For the travel partner flights, is it cheaper to book a round trip or buy the two flights separately?
Comment from : @dsmproject95

@Saigonchic
Please do one for Chase
Comment from : @Saigonchic

@kaung_kkn
John great video and explanations! I'm new to credit cards and miles But just received my Venture card and trying to utilize it My question is, how long does it take for the miles to be converted? Is it a few days or within a few hours? That is because lets say I find a better deal after converting, can I re-convert it back? How does that work in that case?
Comment from : @kaung_kkn

@nktheory
Hey John! I'm a junior in college and wanted to share my list of cards that I'm planning on getting I did start off with the Discover It student credit card
Comment from : @nktheory

@scottshapiro2795
I used flying blue as my first award booking to fly my wife and I to Europe for our honeymoon in business class We got a little over 4 CPP, so I'll definitely look into them againbrbrNow that you mentioned Turkish, I want to check them out for future Asian travel Do you know if Turkish has sweet spots all over Asia? Or just the Philippines?
Comment from : @scottshapiro2795

@taylorb6469
Wyndham (Vacasa) has been my new favorite transfer partner
Comment from : @taylorb6469

@leticiamartinez8785
Thank you so much for the explanation and the examples❤ Does this formula work for Chase credit cards?
Comment from : @leticiamartinez8785

@igglet333
Ok I think there’s one thing that needs to be addressed for cpp from transfer partners Since you’re looking at least a year out, the flight prices in dollars are super inflated… like by 50-200 So if you were to actually wait until a good booking time (which capital one does in their travel portal), it will look less like the crazy 5-10 cpp that is often quoted for these deals That being said, it’s still 2-4 cpp typically, so definitely still the best way to redeem, but not exactly always the home run like people say
