the one advantage console's that used disks had over pc's are no longer a thingbryou used to be able to just put a games disk in and play the gamebrbut now you have to install the game onto the console insteadbrbrthe only current console that exists that is convenient and quick for playing gamesbris the nintendo switchbryou just put the cartridge in and play the gamebrbrsure you download updates but at least you dont have to install the fucking game!

Why don't these console peasant ever factor in the costs of the console that the PC doesn't have, such as online( a complete theft) or more expensive games and don't even consider the fact that if their consoles breaks, they'll have to get a new one, while on PC you can simply replace the old part( which is also much more enviromentally friendly?brWhen you factor in such costs you get a price of around 900$ or 1000$

I don’t even play on PC, I play on both console platforms and I don’t even get this argument I can see why people think this is the case though You pay more up front for hardware, but far less overtime on software You get way more features on a PC And you get scalable content Sony is doing it’s best to make this this divide even worse as it now charges a premium to get scalable content on PS5 Imagine buying a graphics card and having to pay more for higher settings Also he is using getting current gen gpu’s and cpu’s as his comparison Even the new consoles are at least a gen behind the 3000 series So this is already off to a bad start

my favorite feature of pc gaming is what dusk calls as "needless options" you can make the game run at whatever framerate you want, whatever resolution and aspect ratio you want, and with mods (or the game already has these features built in such as most of newblood's titles) you make it look and feel whatever way you want, i hate games that you can't disable crosshair with my life, for pc thats no problem, most games let you disable it, and if you can't due to missing options you just mod it

Console is better, for me at least Don't know too much about computers, and don't have the time or patience to learn I enjoy turning on my system and playing rather than maybe having to deal with other issues Don't have to worry about older games not running, or newer games not running The games will run And I'm okay with that

Here’s my real question Everytime I look up what GPU is equivalent to the PS5 or Xbox series X it says it’s a 2070 or 5700XT which I find hilarious bc I own a setup with that GPU and I get 1440p at 120 or 144 in my games Consoles don’t do that They get 1080p 120 or 4k 60 (which in most cases isn’t even real 4k) My guess is that the GPU equivalent inside the consoles is a 1660 of some variant I could be wrong though
