I got back into the slam almost two yrs ago brStepped straight into kicker Went from comp 10s to comp c12, to comp c 12 with solo classic 12 in comp c boxbrClassic does fine vented cvx or cvr gonna replace comp c soon for a slam box!

how do all you bump heads call a magnet a motor? You know a motor has moving parts is it because it moves a coil /frequency/ crankshaft/cams/lifter? i wonder a person could create a real motor from these subs and actually push pistons instead of vibes? Who ever made it a motor is that just slang? i do not get it! and i am a machinist

Well it took a year for me to watch this I would say I’m a big kicker fan and there speakers thump just need to understand which amp to go with what Real talk I had 4 kicker comp c with audiobaun amp that was made to handle 3 12 inch Audubon subs and the kicker subs only 2 just had that deep bass that killed the amp lol kicker is worth it

I got a single coil comp 12in with custom ported box i built years ago and just slammed it in my car again and got the sound bug and now changing all speakers to kicker ks 100w rms and adding another 12in comp svc to lower ohms to 2ohms from 2 4ohm subs New amp 5 channel 100w rms x4 at 4ohms and 600w rms at 2ohms Might have to add sound deadening material but dont know if im going that far but shizzz all in all $600 SO FAR!!!! But im def mad suprized at the sound these svc 12s give out in my big wide mouth ported box I need to integrate the sub cause i lost so much space and cant fit my bike anymore i also dont wanna lose ported box cause i think half of the 12s sounding good is that box and if i make it smaller or change it i lose sound and that isnt happening! Im only improving stuff not make things worse! i also just learned about the kicker passive sub so i could also add that to my 2 12s and make a smaller box Just wanna be able to throw that bike in there anyway great channel keep up the good work

I've been out the car audio game for over about 15 years now My last setup was JL audio subwoofers (4 x 15w6), JL audio components with phoenix gold and hifoncis amplifiers I miss the bass and want to add a single 12" or 15" and had my eye on the Kicker L7 Q class in a sealed enclosure as I prefer the sound in a sealed box I can't decide whether to go with with the L7 Q class or an SPL sub like Deaf Bonce or similar Can meatier subs like Deaf Bonce apocalypse be used in a SQL setup?

old school kicker Stillwater designs subs were the only good subs kicker ever made now they sold out to China and make overpriced garbage many better choices out there than kicker today, but in the early 90s kicker Stillwater was a great sub RIP Stillwater designs
