Question: If I'm not getting a signal from the HDMi and COMPOSITE cables, could the HDMI IC still be broken? Or would there be a different proiblem? My PS3 turns on fine an eject works too, hdd also seems to be engaged It was rather dirty and dusty when I got it tho the thermal paste was pretty dry, but I seen dryer pastes on PC's in the past than this ps3 Any thoughts? Hi! After 8 years of not using my ps3 fat i turned it on today, it worked like a charm, but after it was on for about 1 hour, the screen turned black After resetting it i got a very glitchy screen, turning on and off, until it stayed off I can Tell the ps3 is still working but it doesnt have display via HDMI And i don't have AV cable to test that side What do you think went down here! Can't seem to get the signal / picture to show I've opened it up and pretty much removed all the dust hidden in the nooks and crannys It doesn't seem to have been opened before me, since the warrenty bits were in the way etc Would it be possible to ship my console your way for a fix? Bro I literally just had this happen on a 60GB system I just bought yesterday No videos even after resetting the video preferences It did work at first for an hour but the next day no video signal Your video does seem like it would be helpful but there is just a lot that I wish you are able to at least explain what you’re doing like the process of replacing the chip was absolutely crucial and it’s just a quick few different angles of you doing it in fast motion but without any explanation at allI wish that you’ll be able to fix that!
