This was beautiful, will practice, soft hanging hands, body close to the ball, eye, just over the ball, the use of bounce, less of club base to touch the grass last but not least, the 9 iron trick, im sure it will be lovely to do that

Love this video, my short game has gotten so much better since I've let go of all tension The feel I use to make sure is almost allowing the club to rest on my trail fingers through the swing, almost just cradling the grip Getting rid of tension is the best feeling in golf

Thanks for the reminder on Step #1 I have been working again on chipping from a stance close to the ball, as you show here If I stand too far away, I find that I can "duck" into the shot, to compensate, causing a dreaded chili dip!!

Chipping is basically a putt with a higher lofted club Stand close to the ball & don’t use wrists The longer you want the ball to run out the less loft you use It’s never going to stop like a pitch, but unless you need to go over sand, water or trees a chip is a lower risk shot

Finally someone has said it! Chipping with an 8 or 9 iron is easier to direct and gauge speed and distance Nick Faldo is a big advocate for using a high iron to chip and run from the fringe because it works It's very hard to get distance right when you are dealing with lob height as well Don't let your pride get in the way of a better result
