Chickens considered by many as quite stupid pass the "mirror test" without any problem They are perfectly aware this is only their reflection so there's no violence I can only suspect it's due the way they drink They simply saw their reflection in water many times before

Yes, but it's strange! In other videos I saw orangutans and chimpanzees recognizing themselves in the mirror, maybe someone didn't immediately recognize their own image but after a while they not only recognized themselves but played in the mirror by making faces, gestures, checking their mouth and other parts of the body I don't know, this gorilla 🦍 seems very primitive to me, too fixated on his role
