I wondered about filling my fresh water tank Thank you I seem to remember needing to use it when there was a problem down the line and although the snow had melted I still didn’t have water The Rv park told me that I wouldn’t need to fill my tank, but after your video I’m going to fill them up Thanks!! From a devoted subscriber Ps I going to Colorado next week until February when my nursing contract ends

The buddy heater, I have my alarms on, without the windows opened while having that heater on, the alarm does goes off when it gets to warm So as long as your alarm works to wake you up or leave a window cracked opened, it’s pretty safe as long as you can manage thesebrbrMy biggest concern is do you still need to winterize your rv if you live in it during the winter?

I bought a 90lb propane tank that helps a LOT in the winter My regular tanks are only used for backup I did have to do a little plumbing to make it work properly

This is great I'm doing my first winter in my trailer I'm in Canada pretty used to the cold ect and already assumed a lot of these tips but the rugs and space heaters is a good idea instead of 20k in propane

@ 4:41 You mentioned you saw stories of people dying from the buddy heater from carbon monoxide For my research no one has died from a Mr Buddy heater and mr buddy heaters do not produce cover monoxide but carbon dioxide same thing as we breathe out Plus they have auto shut offs for low oxygen And tip over protection If you can find some articles and link them here I would be very interested in reading them I found one article about a guy using one of the outdoor sunflower heaters made by buddy heaters and he had taken off all the safety mechanisms and was using it in a method that was not safe and in a sealed closed up van Very different situation than a mr buddy heater
