Wow! This is a game changer for me! 68 yrr old makeup enthusiast here who has watched several other hooded eye tutorials but never was able to achieve the blended, non heavy look with my shadow You are an excellent teacher and can really beak down the process step by step Thank you!

I have very hooded eyes, one is worse than the other, the skin actually sits on my outer lashes, but I will give this technique a go I have a tip for you, instead of using eyeliner on your top lid, I cannot afford to take up any lid space with eyeliner, I use mascara to tight line my lashes and it gives the effect of eyeliner, its been a game changer for me Great video, thank you 😊

Speaking of using fingers, I used my pinky to press in the deeper shade to the outer corners at an angle it's a faster way to lay down the shadow and be able to press it into the folds and wrinkles

I've basically given up wearing makeup at all as, at almost 60, my hooded lids now sit directly on my lashes I'm going to experiment with these techniques and see it it helps at all BTW, thank you It's fantastic to get this kind of advice from someone who actually has hooded eyes, too You get us!

Risa - I watched this video, tried for first time this morning, and it worked so well I need to work on the technique, but it worked right out of the gate I will be 57 next month, and my eyes have become more difficult to work with Thank you! A game changer for me I have hooded eyes with a lot of realistate on the hood There's a fine between too much and too little eye shadow in this area Just because there is room there does not mean you need to fill it all up with eye shadow Think about the character from the Drew Cary show😮 Love your channel

Thank you You stated that you were going to show us how you were going to apply the lashes but didn't Would you do that in your next tutorial please I'm glad you are a mature makeup artist with lots of experience Most of the time I find artistic young women showing how they do their make up but one doesn't understand until you are truly doing makeup for mature women until you become that woman I'm new to your channel and have subscribed Thank you for the advice Although we are the same age, I am just going to begin to use eye makeup because I need that lift brbrI know that this is a lot to ask if you, but would you consider to be vulnerable and do a full face of makeup from beginning to end? I have seen mid 30ish women in tutorials place a highlighter or concealer in the nasolabial folds to disguise the depth I believe??? As you know we have deeper folds due to our age and the marionette lines which I'm not sure if you have due to you already having makeup on and or having a bright light shining on your face because you're doing a tutorial, but if you do would you please show me and us how to hide this the best way and with what type of product not brand? brbrIs there also any way that you can look into the mirror and have the camera pointed directly at your face so that when you're doing both sides of your face we can see it? In this particular tutorial when you were working on your right eye you turn to look into the mirror and it was hard to see what you were doing, actually it was impossible to see what you were doing although we know it was exactly the same thing that you were doing on your left side I however would love to see how you are doing your entire face without turning Please think it over and I look forward to, hopefully, learning how to do my face to look as natural as yours looks Thank you for this Master Class

Great demo! I learned to stamp my eyeshadow on from Nikki Raven probably about a year and a half ago It has helped so much! Thanks for showing another way to do it The way you did it is slightly different from what Nikki taught, but it’s a similar concept of pushing the eyeshadow into the skin versus the usual way I know what you mean, it is about the only thing that works For me, especially in the outer corner part

This is very clearly explained but the skin on my lines is so crepey, there is no way I can do that windscreen wiper motion and crows feet at the outer corner makes it really difficult I just don’t wear eyeshadow! Any suggestions?
