Would love a comparison, maybe spreadsheet, of note taking app possibilities (Although I know they are always adding!) For ex: platform compatibility, clipper, tagging, bidirectional links, integrations (ie Readwise), mind mapping like possibilities (ie Obsidian canvas), spaced repitition, AI tagging, daily notes (journal), block based, tasks and/or calendar integration, folders, mark up capabilities U’d live ti create this as a group!!!!

It's great to see that RemNote is on this list I do not think that it gets recognized enough I have been a user of that application for about a year now and it has been working out very well for tracking my ideas and implementing them as well as taking thorough look notes that I can review

Thank you Francesco When you talk about an app please consider localization Notion for example works with US date and numbers, so dates are month/day and numbers have comma for thousands and dot for decimals Definitely annoying to handle and can induce errors! A no go if you need it for work

I found Anne-Laure Le Cunff's distinction of Architect / Gardener / Librarian (and Tiago Forte's addition of Student) to be a great way to understand one's own note-taking style and thus how to choose a good notetaking app I would love to see Tool Finder (with permission?) use these different user distinctions as a way to categorize/filter all its productivity apps I think it would make finding the right apps for a specific user much easier Once I learned this distinction I immediately understood why my wife, for example, would never do well using the same apps that I would choose for myself, and it made me much better at helping her choose apps that were right for her

I love the CRAFT app ❤ - it has all needed built in & hence it works very smoothly - offline feature, backlinking, calender, journal , handling multiple workspaces is so easy unlike other apps and the app is so colourful & looks very beautiful brSince i have my apple echosystem - macbook, ipad, iphone it works well for me and i am using it for my study note taking as wellbrI dont know about windows users, but apple echosystem it works very well

I have tested many of these apps in 2022 and in the end I always return to Evernote or OneNote for my daily work OneNote and Google keep are the only multi language app and can be used with languages which are written from right to left

I'm using Mem as a file cabinet as it's easy to get clip info from email, web, and Twitter Mem X makes it very easy to find relevant info as well, but the editor is quite bare-bones, and overall, the UX is kind of a mess I understand they put all their effort into AI, but it's difficult to use it as the main PKM drive For that, I'm using Heptabase, an infinite canvas note app The development pace is super fast, and the founder is really listening to the community

Not sure if this was spnsored by Hypernotes but Hypernotes only started in 2021 and you provided the longest segment OneNote has been around in 2002 A little disappointing you did not have give a simple shout that OneNote has been around 21 years
