I love the 5900x but the only problem that sucks in the temps at idle to low percentage usage i have an x53 nzxt cooler with thermal grizzly kryonaut thermal paste, under full load it’s around 60 to 65°C but with low usage of 10 it’s still around 50 to 60°C on idle it’s around 38 to 50°C that’s kinda insane because I had the core I9 10900k The idle temps were around 28 to 35°C but under full load there about the same Comment from : TheCarAdventureShow |

Finally moved to the 5900X from 3900X which the latter I had bought a few months before the 5900Xs launch It was always my intention to max out the AM4 socket (no need for xx50X variant for me) and at £365 UK and the older Zen 2 selling above £200 The small premium from the sale was justified Just as planned :)) Should do for a good few years now Comment from : Confounded Feline |

I got the 5900x for $300 US over the holidays and oml this thing is just the best Boosted my FPS significantly over a 2700x when paired with 1080 Easily overclocked to 47 Even 1 year later, unless you are waiting for the next line of Ryzen with probably a new socket, you should get this processor if you are looking for something right now Comment from : Mediocre Maker |

Can someone give me a quick hand if they come across this comment? I finally got my hands on a 5900x recently and it's currently sitting between 60-65 degrees Celsius while Im performing usual tasks ie downloading, watching videos on youtube Is this considered normal? Im too much of a layman to understand the technical stuff so Googling hasn't really helped me- this is my first time making the change from Intel to AMD (and a big generation leap at that) so I have no experience on what to expect from an AMD cpu- just a bit worried if I may have botched something while I built the pcbrAny help is greatly appreciated if someone sees this comment :) Comment from : Humble |
|
People should avoid this processor A lot of people are suffering random restarts and instability and AMD are turning a blind eye to this problem Do yourself a favour and stick to an older Zen 2 or better yet get an Intel for this generation AMD refuses to RMA my processor knowing full well that they have a faulty product being sold to millions of customers like us Comment from : Archi S |
