Totally infuriating Mac! NONE of the recommended recovery options worked Only option now seems to be to take it into an Apple shop, for them to look at it (they'll obviously try and talk me into buying a new Mac, due to 'built in obsolescence')

My Macbook 2017 has the black screen of death and has to be used by HDMI to tv but I'm about to sell it so I erased the drive in Disk Utility using Command and R But I forgot to log onto wifi before doing so and when I tried to reinstall the OS it made me restart but it keeps going to nothing Even pressing Command and R or resetting PRAM does nothing
